Chapter 4 teaser:
“She led me into the crowded basement where it smelt of alcohol and weed. I started coughing but tried to suppress it after the unknown girl glared at me. She brought me over to a table and introduced me to a few angles. ‘This is Chad, Marcus, Cynthia, and Katie.’ I waved shyly at the new people and they all smiled back at me. Then Marcus pulled something out of his pocket and placed it carefully on the table. ‘oh em gee is that what I think it is!?’ the girl who has still yet to tell me her fucking name shrieked. Marcus nodded and he pulled out a credit card and a 1 dollar bill. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to put together what was going on. They all looked at me waiting for me to make my move…and so I did. I reached over the table and grabbed the card and dollar from his hand. I proceeded to make a line, and then I rolled the dollar up tightly. I took a deep breath before I slowly exhaled it. ‘Its now or never!’ shouted Katie and I looked her way. She was right, I snorted the white powder up and got a burning sensation in my head. After that everything became hazy and soon darkness took over…”

Chapter 3 teaser:
“The warm California air whipped against my face as I made my way down the busy street. People pushed against me making me feel uncomfortable. Just as I was about to turn the corner someone bumped into me. ‘Oh em gee, I am like so sorry!’ I looked up to the high pitched voice and saw a superficial acute angle. She put her hand out and motioned me to take it. Reluctantly I grab a hold, and she brought me to my feet. ‘Thanks’ I whispered quietly. ‘Hey would you like to come to this rad party my friend is hosting? I hear there is going to be some pretty intense stuff there!’ She ended with a wink. I thought about it and decided that if I really was going to get a new start I needed to get out of my comfort zone. ‘Why the hell not.’ I said with a small smile. The girl nodded her head in approval, and took my hand. What I didn’t know was this would be the biggest mistake of my life…”

Chapter 2 teaser:
“My eating habits have become increasingly worse. I’m starting to think my family has noticed. They give me dirty looks but I try to not let it get to me. If anything they are just fueling me to become better looking. My room had become plastered with photos of angle’s that are smaller than me, its my motivation so to speak. I’ve had the dream again, but this time my obtuse self laughs at me. taunting me to eat. I haven’t given in to it yet though. Its hard going through life with no one there. Is there even the right angle out there for me? Will I be alone the rest of my life? Maybe I need to leave this town and get a fresh start to somewhere new…”

Chapter 1 teaser:
“I awoke with sweat forming on my brow, and the blankets tangled around my supple frame. I had that dream again. It was where I gained so much weight I turned into an obtuse angle. I slowly got out of bed and made my way over to the mirror. I poked and prodded at myself. ‘maybe I have put on a little weight….’ I made my way to the bathroom, took one deep breath and proceeded to empty the contents of my stomach into the toilet. My breathing became rigid and I could no longer vomit. I carefully got up and examined myself in the mirror again. Who I really was fading away. ‘What have I become?’ I shook my head in disappointment. I was no longer an acute angle but one that hated looking at itself every morning. My name is Austin and this is my life as a fallen angle.”
